Who is this article for?Primary and Place Admins building their own reports and wanting to export them
Once you have built a report in Analytics that shows exactly the data that you wish to see, it is possible to:
- Share it as a PDF for printing or viewing on-screen
- Export the data as CVS, XML or JSON for implementation in other systems
See our Reporting on Single-Ops and Responses article if you're interested in reporting on a single Op.
1. How to Share a Report
Once you have retrieved the data you need on Analytics, either by building a new report from scratch (see our Analytics Overview article) or by retrieving an already saved one (see Saving Reports and Views); You can then click the More Options menu (3 dots button on the top-right corner) and select Export, the system will then let you select between different formats to export your data:
- If you choose the PDF option, you will be prompted to choose an email address to receive the report as well as options to customise the Title and Description. Click the Export button when done.
- If you choose the CVS, JSON or XML option, you'll be able to choose a recipient email address.
-
After clicking Export, a progress indicator is shown at the top of the screen (blue is In Progress and green is Ready). You can click the Download button here, but you would have also received an email on the previously entered email address.
