Integration between the two products enhances your workflow by seamlessly connecting Issue Management in Smartforms (Essentials) (ISE) with workflow automation in Quality Management (Essentials) (IQME). This guide will walk you through the configuration process and user journey to help you harness the full potential of the feature.
1. User Journey
Once the integration is configured, Smartform users can complete and submit an Operation (Op) as usual.
Issues triggered during the Op submission will be raised, logged, and categorised automatically. When an Issue meets the criteria of a preset Business Rule, a workflow will be automatically initiated in Quality Management.
Workflows created that way correspond to the Issue raised in Smartforms. Quality Management users can manage and complete the workflow as normal, following the established procedures and protocols.
Once the workflow is finalised, the corresponding Issue in Smartforms is automatically closed.
