Who is this article for?Primary and Place Admins that want to make Ops available at specific Places
You can generate Ops to be performed specifically at certain Places in your Org. There are three different logics that you can follow to assign these:
- Select Specific Places
- Assigning Ops using Places hierarchy; All Places within X
- Assigning Ops using Place tags; All Places tagged with X
This configuration can be done within each Op's Setting tab.
1. Selecting Specific Places
This is the most essential way to assign Ops. All you need to do is manually select in which places this Op can be performed from your complete list of Places.
2. Assigning Ops using Places hierarchy
If the Places in your Org are configured as a hierarchy, you have the ability to assign Ops with the option All Places within X. By doing this, you are assigning the Op to all the Places that exist within a specific one (sub-Places within your hierarchy).
Once you select the X Place the system will automatically confirm which Places exist within that, so you can make sure you are selecting the correct group of Places.
3. Assigning Ops using Place tags
If your Org uses Place Tags, you have the ability to schedule Ops with the new option of All Places tagged with X. When selecting this option, you are assigning the Op to all the places associated with a specific tag in your Places hierarchy.
When selecting a Tag, the system will confirm which Places are tagged with it, so that you can make sure you are selecting the correct group of Places.
